Singapore Airshow 2008
Welcome to the Singapore Airshow 2008. This is for professionals and trade personals.
Probability of sun burn is 90%.
The high and low tech and no tech.
Black Knights. It's a relief to know they are on your side.
Flaming Heart.
Paramedics on wheels.
One big bird gliding in the air.
There are loads of great planes, military and private ones on display. Did I mention to put lots of sun screen while you're walking around?
Nice snout.
There's a helicopter section too.
Inside the exhibition hall is where you will find the nuts and bolts, literally. It will only interest people in the industry. For the general public, the air show and the plane displays are the only attraction.
Just outside the exhibition hall is the canteen. If you've been to New York, these prices are considered more than reasonable. No, if you're a Singaporean.
There's no shortages of taxi, considering the $8 surcharge.

Company Without Integrity
Source: I won a battle against Nokia Pte Ltd - Asiaone
This one shook my core belief that business integrity is of absolute importance.
How in the world does one do business without integrity? Do you think you can get away with it forever?
The company is a business entity. However, it has forced its employees to compromise on their business integrity. These will be the same employees that will be telling people not to buy their companies product because they know their service sucks.
I know that many laws favour companies. But again, like my previous post, nobody ever thinks about the reaction and consequences.

Blogging Without Brains
Source: Dear netizens, GO AHEAD, LAUGH AT MY STUDENTS
Every action, has a reaction. In this case, the teacher who mocked his student was fired.
Why is it that people think they can get away with anything they say on the Internet? Thinking that doing something comes without any reaction or consequences is just simply not true.
The worst case scenario is getting fired. Even if you're not fired, you lose a part of you.

leave flickr alone
Isn't it amazing, this thing called online community?
In the end, Microsoft didn't manage to buy over Yahoo. Jerry Yang blew them out of the door. I would do the same too.
The bid was US$40 billion for Yahoo. Facebook was valued at US$150 billion. I don't know about you but that's some serious under-valuation.
Bargain of the Century 2
This is the Logitech MX1000.
Managed to get this amazing mouse at $10 off eBay Singapore. This is the bargain of the century 2. The first being my refurbished Mac Pro, of course.

Dumped
This is precisely the reason why I hate to buy things. That's not mine, by the way.
I'm not like people who think of how good the stuff is when they get it back home. Rather, I'm the type that visualises years into the future when I'll be forced to make a decision whether to throw or keep.
This photo is really the type of image in my mind when I have those thoughts.
