  1. wow! really amazing list! It would be so great if you could put the photos from the movies in their own sets.. But I can understand how much work it would be.

  4. This blog is amazing, and has really given me that desire to start seriously collecting art books. I just bought "The Complete Calvin & Hobbes" which is absolutely amazing. It was the pics on your blog that gave me confidence in the purchase, because I could really see the product. I am also a huge Disney, Pixar, and Studio Ghibli fan. You are really covering all the bases here. Keep it going. Your audience is loving it.

  9. Outstanding list! Thank you for all the video flip-throughs and photos of the books, the materials help tremendously my puchasing decisions.

BTW, why no "Art of the Incredibles" under the Pixar section?

And also, do you know if a concept design book was ever released for the first CGI Appleseed movie?

  10. To reader above,
Thanks for pointing out on the missing art book for The Incredibles. I've added it.

As for the Appleseed movie, I don't think I've come across any art books relating to that. The closest is a short feature written by Animation Note in Japanese.
