  1. wow! really amazing list! It would be so great if you could put the photos from the movies in their own sets.. But I can understand how much work it would be.

  2. Thanks so much for your reviews :D Helps me so much with my christmas shopping!!

  3. WoW, your job and your blog is awesome ^^ I love it so much ^^

  4. This blog is amazing, and has really given me that desire to start seriously collecting art books. I just bought "The Complete Calvin & Hobbes" which is absolutely amazing. It was the pics on your blog that gave me confidence in the purchase, because I could really see the product. I am also a huge Disney, Pixar, and Studio Ghibli fan. You are really covering all the bases here. Keep it going. Your audience is loving it.

  5. Thank you very much, your blog is what I was looking for a long time! Great Job!!

  6. Thanks a lot for the list. Found some great books to add to my collection

  7. it's great like the rest of your post:)

  8. Thank you so much, I really mean it. Your reviews on Amazon/ Blog are taken in such high regard that It's usually an automatic 'add to cart' if I've seen one of your five star reviews. Thank you, thank you, thank YOU from all the art, design community and myself!

  9. Outstanding list! Thank you for all the video flip-throughs and photos of the books, the materials help tremendously my puchasing decisions.

BTW, why no "Art of the Incredibles" under the Pixar section?

And also, do you know if a concept design book was ever released for the first CGI Appleseed movie?

  10. To reader above,
Thanks for pointing out on the missing art book for The Incredibles. I've added it.

As for the Appleseed movie, I don't think I've come across any art books relating to that. The closest is a short feature written by Animation Note in Japanese.

And thanks to all other readers who have left comments as well.

  11. Very Impressive!! Thank you so much for your hard work... I have already ordered "The Art of Ratatouille" ;-)
